About us

Irish Faerie Houses are designed and created by Maitiu and Sophie.  

Originally from County Meath, Maitiu settled on a mountain overlooking the beautiful Roughty Valley in County Kerry 12 years ago.  In 2018 he was joined by his partner Sophie, an artist from London.

Inspired by the beautiful scenery and folklore of the area they created a private faerie trail for their nieces and nephews.  Because of its great success and their desire to work from home, they set up Irish Faerie Houses and went into production in October 2019.

Since then Irish Faerie Houses have been transported all over the world travelling as far as Trinidad, New Zealand, America, and to many parts of Europe.
